Ok. So I haven't written anything in a while. I'm sorry, really. The thing is, I really didn't have the time or the energy. As I mentioned before, my best friend was here. She left last week. We did a lot of stuff together, most of which impeded greatly on my sleeping schedule. So, basically, I've been really out of it lately. She and my boyfriend don't get along as well as I think they should. They are both so stubborn about the dumbest things... Anyway, you get the idea.

Last time I wrote, it was about my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend. Ok, well we still haven't recreated our first date, but we haven't really had the oppertunity. I went to my boyfriend's house this weekend. It was my week to go there. So, Rich picked me up Friday evening and we went back to his house. We had dinner with his family, one of his brother's and his sister in law. His other brother came in later. Anyway, after dinner, Rich's sister in law helped him update his resume and then she took her husband and went home. Rich and I went to go play pool at his local pool hall. A fight almost broke out while we were there. Apparently, it was about a poker game. The bar tender said that since the two guys were regulars he let them play a game, but it didn't go so well, even though they were only playing for a few dollars. They were both totally drunk. They kept trying to beat each other up. I even heard one of the guys yell, "you wanna take this outside!" If he would have added a "bitch" afer that sentence it would have been perfect. The guy actually did go outside, but nobody would let the other guy out. It was kinda funny, really. Rich was watching the guy who went outside, turned out he went to high school with him, lol. Small world, huh?

Saturday, Rich and I planned to go ice skating. We didn't leave his house though until maybe 1:30pm. I'm not exactly sure what we were waiting for, but we seemed to be waiting for something. Anyway, we left after his dad got home. And we were off! Since we had been there two times previously, I thought that we knew how to get there. Or, more accurately, I thought that since Rich is the one driving, he knew how to get there. But he forgot, apparently. We got totally lost. Maybe for about an hour. It wasn't so much that we were lost to begin with, we just couldn't find the rink. However, Rich (against my judgement), kept going, and making turns, and just going... I'm not sure where he thought he was going. At one point we were at Adelpih University. I told him to make a U-turn, because even though I didn't know where the rink was, I DID know how to get us back to where we started from. He didn't do it though. We were getting on highways, didn't know where they led. It was a mess. We passed like, 10 gas stations, in which we could have asked for directions in each. Rich didn't want to. It was one of those male things. I soooo don't get that. If your lost would you rather stay lost, or get directions? Anyway, afer going from Great Neck, to New Hyde Park, to Lynbrooke, to Garden City, to Malverne, to Valley Stream, I called my father and asked him for directions. Actually, we found ourselves on Peninsula Blvd. which is right near my grandmother's house, so I told him to make a left and just go to her house, we would be able to find ourselves back from there. So he turned right. That's about when I called my father. Just so ya know, Rich says he couldn't turn left from the lane he was in, so that wasn't really his fault. So we gave up on the ice skating and asked my father to direct us to the mall. "Following" his directions, he ended up at Hofstra University. I'm not sure exactly how we did that. Anyway, we called my father back and he directed us again... to the mall. Oy. After wandering the mall for a little while, we were hungry, so we went to dinner at Rich's favorite Japanese restaurant. We ended up having a really nice night.

The next day, Sunday, we tried the ice skating thing again. We only got a little lost, so we made it! Unfortunately, after going around the rink a few times, Rich started falling. He can't move to well, even now. We both fell on our knees at least twice. I have bruises, for some reason he doesn't. Anyway, we had a good time while we were doing it. After the skating we went out for pizza. Then we went back to Rich's house. We watched Garden State. I've never seen it before, it's a really good movie. People have been telling me that for years and I've just never gotten around to it. Anyway, we watched that, then I think... I don't know. We ate dinner later with his parents. Then we just watched TV.

I stayed there on Sunday night because Rich was too sore to drive me home. So, on Monday we all had breakfast together. Then Rich did some work, and I read my book for a few hours. After that Rich and I watched a movie that he had to watch for class, Now and Then. It wasn't as bad we thought it would be, lol. Anyway, we just hung out for a while. I fell asleep with my head in Rich's lap, then we played a game. His mom made dinner again and aferwards Rich finally took me home, and I was sad to go. I miss him. Hopefully I'll see him again tomorrow, if not Thursday.

Have you ever loved someone so much that when you're apart it feels like part of yourself is missing? Have you ever loved someone so much that there's this connection, you know when they're upset? Well, it's a great feeling... and painful...
