Well, let's see. I haven't written anything in a while. I went to Massachusetts with my boyfriend. We left last Thursday and came back Saturday night. We really didn't have enough time away, but it was fun while it lasted. On the way up we got stuck in a major traffic jam, oh boy was that fun. It should have taken us about four hours to get there, it took us six and a half. I've got to say that signs in MA, are very confusing, small, and far apart. The roads wind all over the damn place, are very confusing. Instead of helping people out with signs, they just leave them to get lost. Also, the MA people don't really seem to be able to give directions. I actually realized this last time I was there, but this reaffirmed it. I guess it's sort of made up for by the people being nicer there then they are here, lol.

So after we finally made it to the hotel, we sort of collapsed for a little bit. Then we were told that there was a restaurant in the local mall, so we went over. The people in the restaurant didn't tell us it was closing ten minutes from when we got there. We sat down and were looking at the menu when this friendly waitress came over to tell us they were closing. She said we could stay as long as we wanted, since the manager had let us in, he could stay with us. So we ate in a closed restaurant. After eating we wandered over to a local Barnes&Noble. My boyfriend gravitated over towards the history section, and I went to go look at some fake stuff (otherwise known as fiction). They were closing pretty soon, so we left and went back to the hotel.

I have to stop for a minute and describe the hotel. It had a spacious lobby with a floral carpet, dark wood walls, and a restaurant/bar in the lobby. I think there were also a couple of ballrooms down the hall, but we didn't explore them. The room was very nice. It was spacious with a big window overlooking the parking lot and a park, or piece of forest, something green, lol. I just have to mention (since it was mentioned to me so many times), they skipped room 413, they went straight from 412 to 414. My boyfriend pointed that out to me a few times, lol. Our room had two full size beds with white and bold quilts, very fluffy. The bathroom had a full sized shower, and of course there were the customary shampoos and stuff. It was all very nice. There was also a television, it got some good channels, lol.

Anyway, on the second day we were there we went into Salem, and did the touristy witch stuff. We saw a little play at the Griffin Theater, we saw the real dungeons that the supposed witches were held in, and a little play of part of the trials, we went to the witch museum in which we saw another little production, we went to the wax museum of witches, that was kinda cool in its way. After all that we went back to the hotel for a little bit, then we headed to Brookline, to visit my stepbrother. We only got a little bit lost, lol. So we got there, met my stepbro and his sis in their Barnes&Noble. We went to eat in a very noisy sports bar, lol. They were playing a different sport or at least a different game on every tv, and there were like 7 different televisions. It was cool though. Then we wandered around town with my stepbrother, he showed us a lot of dark alleys, lol. After wandering and talking for a bit my boyfriend and I headed back to the hotel. To do this, we first went into the CVS and asked for directions. They were pretty good, but we still got a little lost. Or actually we were going in the right way, but since everything is so windey, we thought we were lost, got little hairy for a moment. We made it back to the hotel though, and we were both tired, so we just passed out.

The next day we were supposed to check out of the hotel and go home. So we started the morning by showering and packing up all our stuff. Then we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. There were a couple of guys there that were totally plastered. I mean it was like 10am, they were totally drunk. They were so fn loud. They were right behind us, at the bar, yelling about various things, it was very aggravating. So, after eating we went to Boston. We didn't have that much time, but we did get to Cheers. We had lunch and some beers at Cheers. By the way, we went to the real one, on Beacon St., not the "set" one. So we did that. We also saw a historical site. I'll ask my boyfriend and get back to you with what it is exactly, lol. We went up and down a street to see if we could find something to get my friend, but we couldn't.

So we headed back. It was a fast trip back only about four hours. It was thunuderstorming part of the time, but it was still ok. Later we went to local Italian restaurant and had some dinner. In the morning I had to go to work, so my boyfriend took me. I'll tell you about the next couple of days in the next entry. I can't do this anymore. Talk to ya'll later!!!!

Well, today I woke up around 6:50am to find that I had fallen asleep with the tv on, the lights on, and my glasses on. So, I walked around turning lights off, took my glasses off, turned the tv off, and laid back down, but I couldn't really fall back to sleep. The thing with me is, once I'm up, I'm basically up. So, I just laid around for a while. I guess I did sort of fall back asleep, because the next thing I knew it was about 10:30am and my boyfriend was calling me from work. He was just telling me about his morning.

Later on, I started to do some things with some boxes, moving them around and what not. I took a shower, got dressed, ya know, the mundane things to do. After all that crap, my boyfriend came over. We hung out and talked, it was fun. Then we went for a little walk. He got me an ice cream soda, which was really sweet. He got himself a soda for the drive home. After that we walked back to my house and saw my mother driving up the street.

So, my boyfriend left. That was sad. I miss him when I'm not with him. Corny, huh? Anyway, my mom made dinner (salmon and rice), and then afterwards I was kind of hyper, so I decided to clean my room. I collapsed a couple of boxes, cut myself in the process, mopped the floor, vacuumed did some laundry, and I meant to organize my shoes, but I'll do it tomorrow.

So that was my day. Tomorrow, I'm going to continue on my room a bit, but I'm going to go to Macy's. I need to get a few things. Later, I'm going to see my boyfriend. I'm not exactly sure what we're going to do yet, but I'll let you know after the fact, lol. So somebody tell me something. Geeze, I need a comment. I know there's somebody out there reading this somewhere, so say something ou'yay eople'pay! Lol. Talk to ya'll later!

Well, let me write about last weekend...

So, on Saturday I planned to make dinner for my boyfriend. I also planned to go to the city with my friend. So my friend and I went to the city, but the thing we went to see, was kinda boring, so we ended up doing the shopping I was going to do in my area, in the city. So I went to Whole Foods with my friend. I bought asparagus, a mix of vegetables for a stir-fry, salad stuff, carrots, and some lemons and limes. I coulda made sprite, lol. For the dinner I also had chicken, pasta, wine, and there was beer around.

So my friend helped me carry the stuff home. By the time we were about a block away from my house, my boyfriend called to tell me he was at my house. So we were all there at the same time. I was cooking, they were chatting and alternatively helping me. It was cozy. It was almost like playing house, but in an adult kind of way, lol. So, while I was putting the finishing touches on dinner, my boyfriend took my friend home. By the time he got back I was pretty much all done.

So we ate, he said it was good. I thought it was good, if I do say so myself, lol. Then we went for a walk. We wandered around the pretty, enclosed part of the neighborhood. It was nice. Somehow we ended up in one of the local ice cream places. Lol, it wasn't planned. So we had some ice cream. That was nice. My boyfriend's ice cream looked like spaghetti and tomato sauce (vanilla ice cream with coconut shavings and strawberrys and strawberry sauce). I had a scoop of chocolate ice cream, I know, boring, lol. The place was about to close, so they basically kicked us out. That was really annoying. I wasn't really finished with my ice cream. They kicked us out ten minutes before they were supposed to. I know they wanted to go home, I mean it was 1:50am, but they didn't have to be so rude about it.

Anyway, after the ice cream we walked back to my house and just alternatively fell asleep watching television and talking, then we went to sleep.

The next morning I had to go to work. I had two birthday parties, one with 28 2-3 year olds, and one with about 25 7 year old girls. It was exhausting to say the least. After work, my boyfriend picked me up and we went back to my house so I could get some stuff. Then we went back to his house to have dinner with is parents. It was just easier for me to stay there, so I did. We ate dinner, then watched some t.v., then went to sleep. In the morning my boyfriend took me home and then sped off down the street to work.

Later that day I had my first driving lesson ever! Subsequently, I had three. It's fun, but somewhat nerve wracking. I'm not a nervous driver or anything, because I'm not. I just still can't believe that I'm driving, lol. Today I took the five hour state mandated driving course. It only lasted about three hours, lol. Still, it was quite boring. I fell asleep at one point and knocked my head against the wall. We watched videos about proper driving etiquette. The dummies didn't make it, many times, lol.

After the class my father and his girlfriend picked me up and took me home. He told me that they are going away together. The timing is not so great, but we'll see what happens. Oy.

So, that's been my week basically. Although additionally to the driving stuff today, I unpacked a couple of boxes and found some of my bags, my CD's, my slippers, and all my bed stuff that I couldn't find, lol. Now, I just need to find my clothing....

So, how's your week been going people. Get back to me, I don't bite. Comment!!!

Well, yesterday was a day. I had lunch with my boyfriend, then he took me to my friends house on his way home. She and I got caught at her house for a while because of a sudden thunderstorm. After that we went for a little bus ride to our shopping street. We walked around in the rain for a while. I kept slipping in my shoes. My toes were like going over the edge of my sandals, I was walking like a nut. So we went into a couple of stores, I got some stuff. Then we ran into my mother at her hair salon. Ok, so we didn't run into her, we purposely set out to find her. We wanted a ride home, lol. So we sat around in the hair salon waiting for her, we talked to some people. When she was done, we took a ride to my father's house to pick up his suitcase. My mother and stepfather were supposed to go away yesterday, but they didn't, so we got the suitcase for nothing, lol. When we got back to my house, my friend went around trying to steal various umbrellas, then I walked her to the bus. Later, my mom, stepdad, and I went out for dinner, to an Italian restaurant. After eating we stopped by at my dad's house. We stayed there for an hour or so, maybe more.

after that we just went home and went to sleep. Well, not directly. I watched some TV, talked to my boyfriend, drew an odd looking thing, then I went to sleep.

So, how was your day?

Thursday, June 01, 2006

Ok, so I haven't written anything in a while. I haven't had the energy. So let's see. What's going on? Well, over Memorial Day weekend I saw my boyfriend four days in a row. I liked that, it was fun. On Friday I had Shabbos dinner with him and his parents. After dinner, he and I went to a local pool hall. We played a couple of games then went back to his house. I slept there that night. The next day, Saturday, we went to Coney Island. We went on rides, including something called 'Super 6,' It's this ride where you sit in one of those little cars. They strap you in and it goes up. Way up. You are horizontal to the ground. It goes up and down and round and round. They also placed it specifically so that you think you are going to crash into the roofs of the various surrounding buildings. I thought it was fun. We also went on the water floom, which is just like a small roller coaster with water. We went on Go-Karts. My boyfriend said it was like my first driving lesson, lol. Hey, at least I didn't crash. Actually, I did pretty well. Better than the last time, where I almost ran someone over. We also went on the Ferris Wheel. That was fun but it didn't go around enough times, only two. Anyway, we also went in to a spook house, but it wasn't even a little bit scary. The whole thing smelled like rubber, it was really kind of gross. We also walked on the boardwalk for a bit. It was really really hot that day. I bought ice cream just so that I could walk along the boardwalk without fainting from heat. I also got a major sunburn on my chest and arms. I still have it, it's very itchy, grr... We also played a video game in the arcade tent. We also got some cotton candy, because you cannot, I repeat CANNOT go to an amusement park without eating cotton candy. It's like against the law or something! Anyway.... After the amusement park we went back to his house for a little while, fell asleep (shh, don't tell) and then we went to dinner. After dinner we went to go see the newest X-Man movie. It was ok, not so wonderful, but pretty good. Later we went back to my house and eventually my boyfriend went home.

Sunday was my grandmother's 90th birthday. So we had a little party for her at my grandparents assisted living facility, normally known as Atria. My aunt and cousin came, my great aunt and her cousin came, my second cousin came, some relative which I've never met before came, my mom and step dad were there, and I was there with my boyfriend. He came to meet my family. He did very well and everybody liked him. After lunch with my family, my boyfriend and I went back to his house for dinner with his family. So I got to meet his two brothers and their wives. They are all very nice people. He really has a very nice family. Compared to mine, they are so normal, lol. Anyway, my boyfriend asked me to stay over that night, so I did. I wasn't planning to, so I didn't even have my glasses with me (I was wearing contacts). My boyfriend gave me one of his t-shirts to sleep in. The next day, we had breakfast with the remaining people in my boyfriend's house (His parents, one of his brothers and his wife, him, and me). I stayed there until around 2:00pm, then he took me home.

So that was my Memorial Day Weekend. I'm sure if I've forgotten anything my boyfriend will tell me and I'll at it in, lol.

So on Tuesday I didn't do much, just wandered around with my friend. Wednesday, I went to my school to take care of some stuff, then I came back home and signed myself up for driving lessons, my first lesson is next week, 6/7. I can't wait. I hope I don't kill anyone by accident, lol. Today, again, I went back to school to talk to someone. I came back to my area, changed one of my driving lessons, and came home.

My kitchen floor is being done, so my house stinks like stain. I'm probably going to stay at my father's house tonight, or tomorrow anyway. I'm waiting for my boyfriend to get off work now. He should be here in under an hour. Yippee! Lol. I'm so weird, I know.

So has your week been fellow bloggers? Care to share?

Ciao!
