I must start off by mentioning that my birthday is in 13 days. Yahoooooo.... Lol.

To my commenter, Anonymous: Yes, I do think you should change your name, lol. Why do you think I'm 17? I'm turning 21, so you were right the first time, I am older than you. I was curious, what country do you live in? England, Australia? I just ask because you used the word hols, and, whereas I know what that means, it's not an expression to be found in the United States very often. Just curious. : - )

Anyway, I just spent the last two hours or so trying to fix the internet connection in my house. First, I come home, and my mother assaults me, "Mira, my computer won't go on!" Fine. So I go upstairs to try and fix it. So I turned the power strip that her computer is plugged into, off. Her computer goes back on. Now her internet connection is dead. Absolutely no reason for that I may add. The internet connection isn't plugged into the power strip I turned off. Ucch. I still had an Internet connection via my wireless service, good old linksys. So, I unplugged that, plugged it back in, now I have no internet access, damn linksys. So I reset the box. My mother now has internet. However, I don't and neither did my stepfather on his computer. At this point I kind of gave up. I was aggravated with the whole thing. About 10 minutes later, my stepfather comes downstairs and wants me to try unplugging and plugging back his computer to see if that would fix anything. Why should it? Whatever. I wasn't going to argue. So, that didn't work, big shock. So since I was back up there anyway, I decided to unplug the linksys box, reset is, unplug the cable box, plug it back in and for whatever reason, it worked. We all have internet again! Wow, that was a stupid way to spend two hours. I don't even know why it worked the last time, I didn't do anything different. As long as it worked, I don't care. Oy.

As for the rest of my day, it was pretty good. In the morning I went to go cover my gray hair (couldn't take it anymore). It's a nice coppery, dark coppery, red color. My eyebrows for those of you interested in those things, are the same color as my hair, I match! I was going to get a sandwich on my way home, but I ran out of money, seriously, I don't even have one dollar in my wallet, anybody want to give me a loan? I get my paycheck on Wednesday, until then, I'm broke. Oh well. So, I got home, ate a bowl of cereal, talked to my boyfriend on the phone while he was on his break, and got ready to go to school. Then there was school. Nothing very exciting to mention there. College is almost over for the term, so glad about that. Last day of classes is May 16th, two days before my birthday. Then there is Finals Week, and I'm finished. Oh, I sooo want to be finished, lol.

Tomorrow, I'm either going to try to reorganize my room, or go to the gym. I will probably do neither, lol. Later, in the evening, I'm going to go out with my boyfriend. I'm not sure what we're doing exactly. It might involve pool, otherwise known as billiards. Hmm... I'll let you know after the fact.

And yes bloggers, I'm talking to you. How was your day?

Hiiii (again ;)

My sis arrived 2 days ago and lost her luggage on one of the connecting flights

(Austin , Texas -> Dallas -> New York -> Dubai , UAE -> (the place i live ;) )

The day started off quite well with my sis's luggage arriving promptly at 8:30 (on a 7:30am flight emirates loaded it on - when sis called them up yesterday , they said they still hadn't located the baggage and weren't sure whether it was left behind at dubai or new york) ..

Anyway , I was sleeping at the time and when i woke up , sis was unloading stuff (which immediately caught my attention :D ) .. She got me a t-shirt and some miscellaneous items (i wanted a cell phone but it seems there's a difference in the transmitting band between cell phones bought in the u.s and here , so she's going to buy me one here :) ) ..

She got mom LOTS and LOTS of sugar free chocolates (mom's a diabetic) , various moisturisers , bath gels , perfumes , conditioners , toners and all that other girly stuff ;)

Dad got books , packets of honey roasted almonds , cashews and a massage chair !! Well , it's not exactly a chair , but more like a thing you strap onto a chair and relax on ... it gives you a thorough massage with different levels and concentrations on diff parts of your back ..

Oh yeah , and i got a protein shake i had asked for .. It's called Designers Whey Protein .. Powder that you mix with yoghurt / milk / water etc. and have ... Supposed to be real good for muscle mass etc. Had great customer reviews online and claims to be the No.1 whey protein source in the US of A ... So tried it out after my workout today .. Hopefully should start seeing results soon .. :-?

Anyway , back to the massager .. Since it was bought in U.S. , i had to run out in the morning to the electronics store round the corner to

1)get a converter (that changed u.s. shaped plugpoints to ones that can be used here) and ;
2)get an adaptor that changed the voltage from 220 to 110 (or was it vice versa ? )

So after the small shopping trip , the massager was put into commission and was found to be quite intense .. Anyway , dad loved it and was most of the time on the chair today relaxing and enjoying his almonds :)

Mom and sis have gone shopping now .. and i guess i have to hit the books soon (exams round the corner).. So ciao !

Vinny
