So, my weekend was as follows: Friday evening my boyfriend picked me up. We went back to his house and had dinner with his parents and his brother and his wife. Then we sat around talking for a while. Rich's brother and sister in law went home and his parents went to bed. Rich and I talked and watched TV before going to sleep. Saturday, we were in no rush to get out of the house. We ate breakfast, watched TV, talked. After Rich's parent's got home, Rich and I went out. We went to the mall to search for a birthday present for my father. His birthday, is on Monday. We shoppped a little, then we has a little luch, then we shopped a little more. We went back to Rich's house from the mall, and his dad gave me a strep test. Ya see, I've had the flu for the past week. I could barely move. Then it seemed to be going away by Thursday. However, it left me with a sore throat. I have a history of strep, and even though I havent had it in a couple of years, I just wanted to make sure. So Thursday evening my mother took me to her doctor. He said, what's wrong? I said, my throat hurts. He said, ok here's an antibiotic. So he didn't give me a strep test, but he gave me a a drug to fight strep. So, for some reason, I took the first dose of the antibiotic. It swelled up my tongue. So, I didn't take more. Instead I asked Rich's father to give me a strep test. So, that's what Rich and I did after the mall. Then we took the culture to the lab, went back to Rich's house for a bit, and then went out to dinner. We went to this Thai place we had been to once before. It wasn't so good this time. The service was horrible. They put us in a corner and basically ignored us. Also, I didn't think the food was all that great. Anyway, after dinner, we went back to Rich's house. We hung around for a while and then went to see "Wild Hogs." It was actually very funny. I recommend it. After the movie, we went back to Rich's house. I filled out my college application, and Rich did some work, I helped :- D. We left Rich's house at about 3:00AM. That's when he took me home.
Sunday, my mom, stepdad, and I went to Brooklyn to visit my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin. It was Purim, so they had a little party. It was just a lunch/dinner party, but it was fun. We hadn't seen them in a while. We got home around 8:00PM. I did some reading, watched some TV, and later on I made myself a salad because I was hungry. Now I'm doing this, and I know this entry sucks, but at the moment, I don't care. I've still got to find my dad a birthday present, all before I have to go to work. Why is it that I have so much extra time, but I still don't have any time for anything? I've also got to go to my old high school and get my transcript. That should be fun, I love gonig back there (major sarcasm).
So, thats what I gotta do tomorrow. Later ppl!

I'm not going to write much of anything right now... Let's just say that overall I had a good weekend. The rest of the week was, ehh. I was on vacation, but I didn't really do anything. Thursday, my stepbrother came down from MA. He went home early this morning. I think we had a pretty good time.
So, that's my update for the moment, more later...
By the way, I haven't forgotten about Lulu and getting her out of trouble, I just don't have the energy right now.
laterz
As a further update: With this new blogger system, I can't seem to run spell check, so plewase forgive mwe.
Thanks,
Mira

Ok. So I haven't written anything in a while. I'm sorry, really. The thing is, I really didn't have the time or the energy. As I mentioned before, my best friend was here. She left last week. We did a lot of stuff together, most of which impeded greatly on my sleeping schedule. So, basically, I've been really out of it lately. She and my boyfriend don't get along as well as I think they should. They are both so stubborn about the dumbest things... Anyway, you get the idea.
Last time I wrote, it was about my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend. Ok, well we still haven't recreated our first date, but we haven't really had the oppertunity. I went to my boyfriend's house this weekend. It was my week to go there. So, Rich picked me up Friday evening and we went back to his house. We had dinner with his family, one of his brother's and his sister in law. His other brother came in later. Anyway, after dinner, Rich's sister in law helped him update his resume and then she took her husband and went home. Rich and I went to go play pool at his local pool hall. A fight almost broke out while we were there. Apparently, it was about a poker game. The bar tender said that since the two guys were regulars he let them play a game, but it didn't go so well, even though they were only playing for a few dollars. They were both totally drunk. They kept trying to beat each other up. I even heard one of the guys yell, "you wanna take this outside!" If he would have added a "bitch" afer that sentence it would have been perfect. The guy actually did go outside, but nobody would let the other guy out. It was kinda funny, really. Rich was watching the guy who went outside, turned out he went to high school with him, lol. Small world, huh?
Saturday, Rich and I planned to go ice skating. We didn't leave his house though until maybe 1:30pm. I'm not exactly sure what we were waiting for, but we seemed to be waiting for something. Anyway, we left after his dad got home. And we were off! Since we had been there two times previously, I thought that we knew how to get there. Or, more accurately, I thought that since Rich is the one driving, he knew how to get there. But he forgot, apparently. We got totally lost. Maybe for about an hour. It wasn't so much that we were lost to begin with, we just couldn't find the rink. However, Rich (against my judgement), kept going, and making turns, and just going... I'm not sure where he thought he was going. At one point we were at Adelpih University. I told him to make a U-turn, because even though I didn't know where the rink was, I DID know how to get us back to where we started from. He didn't do it though. We were getting on highways, didn't know where they led. It was a mess. We passed like, 10 gas stations, in which we could have asked for directions in each. Rich didn't want to. It was one of those male things. I soooo don't get that. If your lost would you rather stay lost, or get directions? Anyway, afer going from Great Neck, to New Hyde Park, to Lynbrooke, to Garden City, to Malverne, to Valley Stream, I called my father and asked him for directions. Actually, we found ourselves on Peninsula Blvd. which is right near my grandmother's house, so I told him to make a left and just go to her house, we would be able to find ourselves back from there. So he turned right. That's about when I called my father. Just so ya know, Rich says he couldn't turn left from the lane he was in, so that wasn't really his fault. So we gave up on the ice skating and asked my father to direct us to the mall. "Following" his directions, he ended up at Hofstra University. I'm not sure exactly how we did that. Anyway, we called my father back and he directed us again... to the mall. Oy. After wandering the mall for a little while, we were hungry, so we went to dinner at Rich's favorite Japanese restaurant. We ended up having a really nice night.
The next day, Sunday, we tried the ice skating thing again. We only got a little lost, so we made it! Unfortunately, after going around the rink a few times, Rich started falling. He can't move to well, even now. We both fell on our knees at least twice. I have bruises, for some reason he doesn't. Anyway, we had a good time while we were doing it. After the skating we went out for pizza. Then we went back to Rich's house. We watched Garden State. I've never seen it before, it's a really good movie. People have been telling me that for years and I've just never gotten around to it. Anyway, we watched that, then I think... I don't know. We ate dinner later with his parents. Then we just watched TV.
I stayed there on Sunday night because Rich was too sore to drive me home. So, on Monday we all had breakfast together. Then Rich did some work, and I read my book for a few hours. After that Rich and I watched a movie that he had to watch for class, Now and Then. It wasn't as bad we thought it would be, lol. Anyway, we just hung out for a while. I fell asleep with my head in Rich's lap, then we played a game. His mom made dinner again and aferwards Rich finally took me home, and I was sad to go. I miss him. Hopefully I'll see him again tomorrow, if not Thursday.
Have you ever loved someone so much that when you're apart it feels like part of yourself is missing? Have you ever loved someone so much that there's this connection, you know when they're upset? Well, it's a great feeling... and painful...

This past Saturday was my one year anniversary with my boyfriend! In the morning and afternoon we went to the City with my friend. We went to see my boyfriend's brother's exhibit. He did a project about the Ishtar gate in ancient Babylon. It was very interesting. After the exhibit we were all a little hungry, so went to this restaurant on 6th avenue called Jekyll and Hyde. It's a theme restaurant. There's a whole show and everything. The problem with this place is that everything is insanely expensive. I mean you are paying more for the atmosphere than the food, but still. I mean I got a salad and just that was $15.95. The burgers are 20 something and my boyfriend got a chicken sandwich, also for 20 something. I think that's a bit crazy.
Anyway, after eating we all got back into the train and back to Queens. We went to my friend's house and just hung out for a while. My boyfriend and I eventually left and we went back to my house. We planned to recreate our first date last night. It didn't quite work out. We started out from my friends house late, and we got back to my house late. We had to get dressed and all that stuff. We didn't leave my house until about 9:40pm. Then we couldn't find parking anywhere near anything. We drove around for a half hour, maybe more and found nothing. The restaurant closes at 11:00pm. We ended up at another place, Italian instead of Japanese. It's a good restaurant, just not what we planned. We'll recreate our first date, maybe next week, maybe not, but we'll do it. After dinner we ordered some champagne. It was very good :- )
After dinner we just went home. We talked for a while, then went to sleep. My boyfriend went home around noon today. I miss him.
I'll write more later, I'm tired, good night people.

Chapter 1:
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lulu. She was not the prettiest girl in the world, but she was unique in one way. She was the naughtiest little girl in Kew Hills. She was ten years old and always trying to find a way to show off, and also to ignore her parents.
One day Lulu was walking to school with some of her best friends, John, Mira, Debra, Sally, and Daniel. John had just come back from Florida where he had visited his grandparents. It wasn't the most exciting of trips he said, but his grandparents had gotten him this great hat, and he was talking about it, and talking about it. Honestly, he was driving Lulu crazy. She wanted to tell everybody about her great idea, but she couldn't because John wouldn't shut up about his stupid hat.
"It's just a hat John!"
And with that, she grabbed the hat, took it off his head, ran ahead of everybody, and threw it in the sewer.
"Lulu! How could you, my grandparents gave that to me!"
John shocked everybody by sitting down on the edge of the sidewalk and crying. None of them had seen John cry in years. "John it's a hat, I'm sure you could get another one," said Mira. "No I can't," said John, "My grandmother picked out that hat. It's the only thing she's ever gotten me that I actually like, it's special." Everybody said, "oh."
Lulu was running up ahead because she was so mad a John. She didn't hear him yell at her, she didn't see him crying, and she didn't see her friends trying comfort him. She walked to school alone, sat alone during lunch, and basically ignored all her friends. She was so mad all day, she didn't even notice that they were ignoring her as well. She stormed out of school early and went off into the woods.
Later on, after school, Debra asked Mira, "Where's Lulu? She wasn't in class this afternoon." "Who cares Debra, I'm sure she went home." "I guess."
So Mira, Debra, John, Sally, and Daniel walked home together. John was quiet, and the others really didn't have anything to say either. When they got back to their houses they split up and went off to do their own things. Lulu didn't come home.

My weekend is so not worth talking about...
Have you ever had any of those disturbing waking thoughts? It's like you're in a semi sleep state and you are not exactly conscious where your mind is drifting, but you aren't asleep either. Well today, I was on my way back from Connecticut with my father and grandmother, and all of the sudden I started wondering what it would be like to suddenly lose my hearing, 100% of my hearing. I found this little "dream" of mine, very disturbing. I imagined myself years ahead, married to my boyfriend, only to find that when I woke up one morning, I was totally deaf. I couldn't hear my own voice, but what upset me most was that I could no longer hear his voice. I really do love hearing his voice.
My other waking dreams, to my recollection over the years have been equally disturbing. People I love in car accidents, or in a fire, or some other horrible situation. I think, not totally sure, but I think this is the first time the horrible thing was happening to me. However, even though this was happening to me, it was more about it's impact on the people surrounding me, sort of. I'm not sure.
I'm not crazy by the way. I'm not now, nor have I ever been depressed. I'm just me. Take it or leave it.

So, today is Sunday, officially one week into the new year. When I deposited my paycheck, I wrote '06. I just realized that. My first mistake of the year, lol. I don't think the bank noticed though, so, all's good.
Last Thursday, I went bowling with my boyfriend. We went to the only local bowling alley left, near Queens College. I guess people don't really bowl anymore? Local bowling alleys have been closing for years. Anyway, I can't bowl, seriously, I suck. I mean, I used to be better when there was a bowling alley up my block, but that closed years ago. I think the first game I bowled a 43, or something like that, and my boyfriend bowled 70 something. Ok, we both suck. In the middle of the second game, I got a call from my mother. My grandmother was in the hospital with pneumonia. Turns out she doesn't have pneumonia, but whatever. So we finished our game, I mean what else could we do? I bowled a 17 and I can't remember if my boyfriend broke 100. He got two strikes in a row in the last frame, and one almost strike, hehe. Ok, he's better at bowling than I am. When we play pool, he still tends to win, but it's a little for fair.
Anyway, he came back over for dinner on Friday night. My mom got home from work around 5:00pm, and then she and my stepdad went over to the hospital. I was left at home to cook. So, for my mom and stepdad, those wacky vegetarians, I made salmon. It was pretty plain, just grilled with a little bit of parsley. For my boyfriend and me, I made lemon chicken. I didn't have a recipe, I just guessed. I had three pieces of chicken cutlets, and three lemons. I took the chicken (washed it of course), and put it on a plate. I poured the juice from one lemon over the chicken and let it sit there for a while. Then I loosely breaded the chicken. I poured another lemon's juice over the chicken again. I added some extra breading to the plate for thickening. I put some lemon peels on top of the chicken also. I put some lemon zest on the bottom of the pot, before putting the chicken in it. I poured the last lemon into the pot and mixed it with about a teaspoon of tomato sauce and a little bit of oil. All of that together coated the bottom of the pot. I put the chicken inside and baked on 345 degrees until it was cooked. When it was done I put some parsley and sauteed onions on top of the chicken and served it. I also, stir fried some snow peas with garlic, onions, and parsley. I added some pepper and just the smallest amount of salt. I made wild rice to go with the salmon (I burned it a little bit), and I made some linguini to go with the chicken. I made a garlic and oil sauce to go on top of it. And that's it.
After dinner my boyfriend and I lounged about a bit, then we went for a walk. We ended up circling half of my town. We didn't get back until 3:30am. It was a long walk, and we stopped to get ice cream and pretzels on the way. When we got home we basically just went to sleep. My boyfriend wasn't feeling too well at that point, so I didn't set the alarm for the morning. We ended up walking up around 12:00pm. We both took showers, had a little fight, made up, and went for lunch. We went to the best local pizza place and had... you guessed it, pizza. It was very good. We just wandered around town a little bit after that, went in and put of a few stores. I needed to go the optometrists office. I need new glasses. So, I went there, I picked the frames and found out how much it will cost to have them made with my wacky prescription. Ok, not wacky, I'm just far sighted instead of near sighted. Anyway, after that we walked back to my house. My boyfriend carried me a little bit, lol. I was tired. We got back to my house talked a bit, ate a little snack, and watched a bit of TV. We fell asleep for a half hour or so. We left my house around 8:30pm, and went for dinner. We drove to a good Chinese/Japanese place called Tofu. It was good. We thought about going to a movie, but we had just missed all of them by like 10 minutes. I hate starting movies in the middle.
We ended up back at my house and we watched Minority Report. I got it on DVD a while ago, and never watched it. I recommend it. By the time it was over, it was after 3:30am, so my boyfriend went home. I miss him already.
Today isn't worth talking about, this is the most productive thing I have done thus far today. Ya know, there are a lot of bad movies on Sunday afternoon. Well, tomorrow, I'm off to work, so I'm just relaxing for the day.
How was your first week of 2007 people? How was your first weekend?

Ok, I don't really want to write about my trip to CA. Let's just say that the majority of it was fun. I got to see family I haven't seen since last year. The kids all got taller. It's amazing how they do that from year to year. Anyway, we didn't see any sights this time out. We really just hung out. Stayed on the baby's schedule. We woke up everyday at 7:00am and had "brunch" at 9:00am. I always thought that brunch was more of a meal between 11:00am and 2:00pm. Anyway, we had fun. The only bad thing was the coming and the going. I don't really like flying. The airline lost one of our suitcases on the way there, and lost all of them on the way back. Now THAT was aggravating. On the way back to NY the wind was blowing pretty hard in Burbank CA. What does that mean? It means that either the plane had to lighten its load of people, or its load of gas. Since nobody was willing to take a later flight, the plane only took enough gas to get us to Palm Springs. So we landed there to refuel. As a side note, happened to be where President Ford's plane was waiting for him. Anyway, for some reason it took about an hour to refuel. We missed out connecting flight at Dallas Fort Worth. When we got there, the next flight was going out immediately. So we ran to the other side of the airport and boarded the new plane. We asked, "Will our luggage be put on this plane?" "Yes, of course, while you were traveling to this port (or w/e it's called for a plane), your luggage was traveling by ground." Oh please. When we landed in Laguardia at 9:30pm our luggage was not there. We went to find out where it was. Apparently, it was on the next flight, due to come in at 11:30. We could have gone on that flight if our luggage would have been put on it. Anyway, we finally got our luggage back and went to find our car. We got to it at about 12:30am and we went to go eat something. Diner at 1:00am, I do not recommend. So that was my trip to CA. I took lots of pictures, I'll post the sight when I get around to posting the pictures on it.
Ok... New Years Eve... My boyfriend and I planned to go to a nice Italian restaurant in Roslyn. He made a reservation for 10:00pm. I know that's late. He did this because they told him they were going to have post new years festivities. They lied. Or they just thought more people would be there, I don't know. Our waiter left about twenty minutes after we got there. It took me three tries to get a coke. The food was ok, nothing special. They were taking inventory, vacuuming, and just hanging around by 11:00pm. We were one of two tables that were full. The valet came into the restaurant handed Rich his car keys and said good night. They basically kicked us out by 11:45pm. We spent the next hour driving around looking for somewhere to toast in the new year. We did stop the car mid road at midnight. We had a nice long happy new year kiss. It's amazing really, nothing was open. Every bar we passed was closed. I figured they would be open late on new years. Anyway, we ended up at a bar around the corner from my boyfriend's house. We had one glass of bad champagne and then went back to his house, and finished off a bottle of good champagne. We danced a little, and talked, and eventually went to sleep. It was my best new years eve. They've always been somewhat bad before.
I don't really have anything else to say. The rest of my weekend was really not very active. I spent it with my boyfriend and his family, but we didn't really do anything. I did manage to get addicted to one of my boyfriend's car racing computer games though, lol.
Anyway, have a good day, month, year people. Happy New Year!

So I don't really have anything to say. I have to go to work soon. I don't feel very well. I don't know what's wrong with me exactly I just don't feel well. I called my friend in Israel and she was with her roommate, so she couldn't talk. It sounded they were in a restaurant of some sort. I guess I'll talk to her tomorrow or something. I have to leave for work in twenty minutes, so I should probably get dressed. Ucch, I just want to go back to sleep. Have a day people!

So, my weekend was not especially eventful. I went to my boyfriend's house for dinner. His dad's birthday is... well... actually it's today, but we were all celebrating it on Friday. His mom made something middle eastern involving pumpkin. Since, I don't eat pumpkin she made me pasta. It's the first time I think I've seen the whole family together since the summer. Anyway, we had a good time.
After everybody left my boyfriend and I were supposed to go play pool or something, but he was too tired, and I'm not sure why, but I was totally out of it. So we just sat around watching TV. Saturday we planned to go ice skating, and then later after dinner to Strike. However, we managed only to go to Subway, wander around for a while, and then go to dinner in my favorite Chinese/Japanese place called Tofu. We went back to Rich's house afterwards and watched a movie, "Old School." Personally, I didn't think it was all that funny. I know many people would disagree. Whatever.
I ended up staying at his house Saturday night also. He was too tired to drive me home. So Sunday, he did lesson plans, and I read while he worked. I bothered him once in a while. All in all it was a good weekend, a sleepy weekend.
Yesterday, I went to work. It's the last week of the session, so I have to keep saying good bye to all my classes. It's slightly depressing, but I'll probably see them all again in January. So whatever. Today, I was supposed to cover for someone, but I ended up being sick, so I didn't go. Everybody seems to be coming down with something.
Meanwhile, I found out that my fam and I are going to California on the 24th, instead of the 25th, and we're leaving like at 5:30 am. It's all very aggravating. I have to go shopping. Macy's is having one of their blow out sales, so I want to go to that. Only if my mom gives me the macy's card though. What's the point in spending more if I don't have to? Anyway, I don't even want to go at this point. I don't feel especially well and I would rather spend the time with my boyfriend. If I don't go away, then my father will go away with his girlfriend. It would actually be the first time I'd be all by myself, parent wise. I really don't want to go.

Ok, first off I must start out by saying I have so many damn Christmas songs stuck in my head!!! AHHH!!! Does anybody remember those Hess Truck commercials that always came around during this time of year? The hess truck's here and we're better than ever... Hess Truck this year, the Hess Truck's here... Or something like that. That was the only Christmas commercial I ever looked forward to each year, and now that I'm thinking about it, I haven't heard it in quite a while... I gotta ask people if they remember this thing, hmm...
So, it's almost 3:00am. Since I've been especially insomniatic this week for some reason, I've been watching a lot of the Food Network. Now, I always turn it on once in a while, but somehow as a background thing. I don't watch it to learn how to cook. Oddly enough I do cook, and I like to cook, but I almost never look a recipe, and when I do, I use it more as a guide than anything else. I'm not sure what my point is. Right now I'm watching Iron Chef America, and the secret ingredient is ostrich. Now, that is a hard bird to deal with. I mean first they had to catch the thing, figure out a good way to kill it, remove the feathers and so on. I mean wow, what a show! I'm kidding really, all they had to do was cook the thing. Also, I find it interesting that I think this is my first time watching where I think the challenger is going to win. Hmm...
So, let me tell you about the excitement of last night. Around 4:30am, I was just starting to fall asleep when I heard loud blasting music (techno I believe). I went upstairs to look out of the window, and what did I find? I found a drunk man peeing on my lawn. Granted I've only lived here a few years, but I have never seen anything like this over here. Well... Something similar once a couple of years ago, I'll tell you about it later... Anyway, this man looked very confused. He was either jerking himself off, or shaking the piss off his dic, hard to tell with the lighting as it was. It looked as if he forgot which house he was supposed to be going to. For a few minutes I thought he was going to try to wander up my front walk, or try to go in the backyard. However, he eventually wandered off up or down the block, I'm not sure. At least he got out of his car and was not driving, he could have killed someone.
This morning, on my way to work, a policeman stopped me and asked if I knew any languages. I just figured I wouldn't say something like, "No hablo ingles." or, "ani lo midaberet angleet." I also didn't say, "Besdies English?" I just said that the only language I know is English and walked on. I mean, I don't know anything else with enough fluency to be of use to anybody as translator, unless you count pig latin... You don't count pig latin, do you?
So, tomorrow I am going to work, not sure exactly what I'm teaching my class yet. We played duck duck goose at the end of class last time, I'm wondering if they would understand the concept of Indian Chief... Hmm... (Please tell me you know what that is, I don't want to feel old again). I'll probably set up an obstacle course at some point. I did that today with my nursery class, they liked it. I could also play musical skooters if the mood strikes. Hey! I think I just planned my lesson, lol.
Stream of consciousness is great isn't it? I mean you never know what's going to come out. My back is killing me. I'm Meeting my boyfriend by his work area tomorrow. My mother seems to think I am insane. Well good for her. Maybe she doesn't realize that there's no reason he has to drive all the way over here since he's going to be exhausted at that point. It's not the easiest trip in the world for me, but it isn't impossible. I mean I used to go to school in that area five times a week. If she minded it so much then she could have gotten me a car, but she didn't. So, I don't know what her problem is. He lives near there, so he doesn't have to leave his area tomorrow. He always picks me up because I don't have a car. He never complains or anything, he's very sweet about it. However, it's just nice for me to be able to meet him this one time. I am going to make his life easier by doing this, so why shouldn't I do it? I don't know, my mother is weird like that.
Anyway, it's 3:17am, I'm going to attempt to go to sleep. I have to wake up at 9:30 so I'm going to try to get at least six hours of sleep. Adios muchachos!!!

Hi people. Sorry I haven't written in a while, I guess I've just been lazy.
So, last Friday my boyfriend came over. I made a meatloaf. It was pretty damn good if I say so myself. Anyway, after dinner we didn't do much. Just talked and watched TV. Saturday, we had a late start to the day. We left the house around 2:00pm maybe. We had lunch (maybe it was brunch?) in a little place that always reminds me on Central Perk (the coffee house from Friends). He had some sort of chicken wrap and I had an egg sandwich and a lot of good fries. Anyway, after lunch (or brunch) we wandered around my area. We got my boyfriend's glasses fixed (he somehow managed to punch them in his sleep, so they were crooked). While we were at the glasses store I tried on a few new frames. I think I found a pair of frames I like. I haven't been able to find them online, so if I end up getting them, I'll take a picture and stick it in here somewhere.
Anyway, after that, we went to Starbucks and wandered with our hot drinks. We bought movie tickets for The Holiday to see later on, and we went to Duane Reade and I got some moisturizer and dark chocolate m&m's. You read correctly DARK CHOCOLATE M&M'S!!!! At that point we went back to my house and I spent some time editing my boyfriends 95 page paper on the fall of the Roman Republic. Of course the m&m's came with me, lol. It was a very well thought out paper of Rich's part (G-d help his professor). After the editing we realized we didn't have enough time to go to dinner before the movie. So, we ate left over meatloaf with a nice fresh salad. We left and spent the next half hour or so looking for parking somewhere near the movie theater. We missed the first 15 minutes of the movie. However, I really liked the movie. It was good. After the movie we went back to my house, talked a bit and fell asleep.
I do not even want to go into Sunday, or Monday. Let me just say it involved a Chanukah Festival and a booth called "Toss the Latke." Don't ask. Just imagine, lol.
So, that was my weekend. How was yours people?

Hey people. Today is Tuesday December 5th at 12:46pm. So, I'll tell you about my weekend I guess. On Friday I went to my boyfriend's house. His brother came over for dinner. His mom made a very good lasagna. After dinner we all watched a very stupid movie on lifetime. I believe it was called Noel. Susan Sarandon was in it, among other people of course, including Robin Williams. With all the good actors in the movie, it really sucked. It was so gloppy, so sweet, and so magically christmasy. Bleh. As a movie, it also jus sucked, it was highly predictable and low key. I mean there was no action what so ever, ehh.
Later that night my boyfriend's brother went home and his parents went to sleep and my boyfriend and I were left watching TV in the basement. We didn't watch anything special, just TV. My boyfriend fell asleep and later we just talked for a bit. On our way upstairs we noticed flashing lights in front of the house. We looked out the window and saw a car, on its side on the front lawn. The flashing lights belonged to the police and the toe truck who were trying to get the car off the front lawn. My boyfriend went upstairs to tell his parents about it. They called the police and were informed that the person driving was a 16/17 year old high school student. She supposedly fell asleep driving and went threw the neighbors bushes and then found herself crashing into a tree on my boyfriend's property, continued weaving around and managed to crash through his bushes. Her car flipped over at some point. If she had gone about ten feet farther she would have been in his dining room.
Amazingly enough the girl was absolutely fine and so was her passenger. The next morning my boyfriend went out to clear the driveway and while he was there, the girl's father came by with his gardener. They basically assessed the damage. My boyfriend scratched up his face with some pieces of tree and finally came back inside. Later on his mother told me that the bushes the girl destroyed had been planted there in 1929. So she was very upset. The whole thing was just upsetting to everyone.
Saturday, after my boyfriend cleaned off the driveway, we sat around watching TV for a while. Later his parents got back from work, then his brother and his wife came over. They are going to Africa I believe, so they needed to get Hep C vaccinations. Rich and I wanted to go ice skating, but my ankle sort of hurt, and after his brother left, the rink was closed. So we took a little trip into Roslyn, ate lunch, and did a little shopping. We couldn't think what else to do, so we ended up going to another area and did more shopping. We went to Best Buy and I got Minority Report, and Rich got Syriana. Then we went to The Source Mall. We didn't buy anything we just walked around. I went hysterical for a while (laughing). I couldn't stop for like an hour. Every time Rich looked at me I would just burst out into hysterical laughter. We had to leave stores after a while, I mean they were looking at me like I was insane. I was doubled over and hanging onto Rich so I wouldn't fall down.
After the mall, we went back towards his area and ate dinner in a cute little Thai restaurant. After that, we went back to his house and watched Syriana. Then he took me home.
The next day I went to work. A cute little girl's birthday party. It went alright. Didn't do anything much the rest of the day. Actually, I fell asleep. I was exhausted.
Monday, I went to work, ate dinner with my father, and went to sleep.
So, that was my weekend and Monday. Yours?

After the mall, we went back towards his area and ate dinner in a cute little Thai restaurant. After that, we went back to his house and watched Syriana. Then he took me home.
The next day I went to work. A cute little girl's birthday party. It went alright. Didn't do anything much the rest of the day. Actually, I fell asleep. I was exhausted.
Monday, I went to work, ate dinner with my father, and went to sleep.
So, that was my weekend and Monday. Yours?

I have nothing to say except... It's started again. Every year after Thanksgiving the Christmas songs start. Now, being Jewish, I have very little feeling for this time of year, or for the songs themselves. However, these songs cause me great pain. I mean, seriously, the day after Thanksgiving they start and they don't end until basically January! The same damn songs year after year, day after day... It is sooooo annoying!!!! These songs get stuck in my head and they just won't get out! Good king Wenseslause (or however you spell it), Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, etc, etc... AHHHHH!!!!!!!!
I like these songs for the first couple of days, but a month of it, is just too much. I must protest. And the lady really do not protest too much, I seriously hate the month of Christmas, before Christmas.
Anyway, I'm gonna go, I'm dizzy, must lie down....
Frosty the Snowman....... (humming)........

So, it's Monday at 4:30pm. Where am I? I'm home? Why? Because I have my period, and the complications that go along with it. Let me just say, that I feel like I have a stomach virus. I'm supposed to go to my boyfriend's house for dinner tonight. I hope I can keep it down. I haven't eaten anything today, unless you count water. I can barely move, this is fun. I would have gone to work today if I had to work at the desk. However, I was supposed to teach gymnastics. I really couldn't see myself moving that much.
I finally figured out how to get my picture in my blogger profile, woo hoo!! I had to take my picture and chop a lot of it out, and it was a small picture to begin with, lol.
I really, don't have anything else to say. I mean I seriously didn't do anything today. I didn't even eat anything. One, because we have no food. Two, because I'm too nauseous to eat anything.
Seriously, nothing else to say. I'm going to go write more of my Pig's story.
Bye Bye!!

So everybody how was your turkey day?? Mine was alright. My stepbrother came in from MA for the weekend. So he's here now. I went with my mom, stepdad, and great aunt to a restaurant in the city called Hunter's. This is the third or fourth year that we've gone to this place. It's alright. It's a pub/restaurant place. It's very noisy, the food is ok, and there are always a lot of noisy families there. I guess the food is alright, but it's not wonderful. I wanted to cook this year, but nobody else wanted me to. They didn't think I could do it I guess. I don't know.
Anyway, after dinner we headed home. My cousin had met us there, so there wasn't really enough room in the car for all of us. My great aunt ended up sitting on my cousin's lap for the return trip. He looked pretty uncomfortable. He said she was sitting on the spot where he had a hernia operation a couple years ago. She was sitting on his lap and My stepbro and I were squished next to them. It was a remarkably uncomfortable trip.
Once we got home, my boyfriend came to visit for a little bit. We just sat around and talked. Then he left. He went to Maine today. He's coming back on Sunday afternoon. I'm probably not going to see him until Friday though. I miss him and I want him to come back. We have never been apart on a weekend yet, not in the last 9 (almost 10) months. It's going to happen another two times in the recent future. I'm going away during Christmas, and he's going away during Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend. So we are going to be separated some more. All I know is that I miss him.
I'll talk to you later ya'll bye for now!!!

So, I know I haven't written since last week, but I was busy... Sorry : - (
Anyway, last week was very busy. I worked everyday except Tuesday, and I couldn't walk that day. So yeah.
On to the weekend. Friday night my boyfriend came over for dinner. We all had fish, it went down swimmingly. After dinner I drove us down to thee old movie the-ater. We saw the newest installment in the James Bond franchise. We weren't expecting very much out of it, but it was actually very good. We didn't think we'd like the new James Bond, but we did. This movie was actually better than the last couple that came out.
So that was Friday. Saturday was kind of a lazy day, I don't know if you noticed. It took us forever to get out of the house. We didn't leave until sometime after three o'clock. We had lunch in Subway, then went into the subway and headed to the city. We went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I'm not the biggest fan of walking around museums, but my boyfriend is, and we were celebrating his birthday. We went to three of four different exhibits! That's a lot of standing/walking. Our feet hurt so much!! After the museum we planned to go to Whole Foods and buy... well, food. I was going to make dinner for the two of us. Turns out we were just too tired. We got back on the subway and tried to head home. On our way from one subway to the next, I got my heel caught in one of those run off grates they have by the subway stairs. I don't know why, but I thought it was hilarious. Somehow I managed to step back and get my other heel caught in the grate too. My boyfriend was trying to get me out of my boots, and I just sort of fell over. I grabbed on to the handrail and one boot came loose. After some hysterical laughing and cajoling, the other one eventually came out. I was laughing so hard that I almost stepped right back in the grate. My boyfriend ended up almost carrying me out of the subway. That was seriously funny, and I still don't know why. Meanwhile with all the boot trouble I had, I retwisted the same ankle again. Sheesh. I can walk and everything, but instead of being mostly heeled, my ankle is still tender. Oh well, life happens. Anyway, after making it back to my little town, we went to get dinner. There's this great local Italian place called Portofino. It tends to be very noisy and crowded, but the food is great. In honor of my boyfriends birthday I ordered us some champagne. We had a nice dinner, and then we walked back to my house. We watched some TV, and my boyfriend went home.
Sunday was quiet. I just stayed home and relaxed. Later my stepfather and I went to visit my grandparents. My mother was working so she couldn't come with us. After we got back home, I had to drive back over there to give them something. Then I went and got myself a sandwich, which I am about to eat.
Later, I am going to work, and my boyfriend is going to pick me up. Today is his real birthday, so his parents invited me over for dinner. His mom is getting him a Costco cake, and if you know anything about anything, you know that that's the cake to get! Lol. This morning I had to wait around for a carpet my mother ordered, but it's here now and I no longer have to worry about it, until tomorrow. I'll explain that later.
So how was your weekend people?

Ok, well just to let you know I didn't dye my hair red red. I was talked out of it again. I went back to being a brunette. I got some highlights too. It looks ok, slightly more regular. I don't know. I'll get used to it I guess. Maybe it needs to be darker with more highlights. Everybody else likes the way it looks, except my mother. She has always been quite particular about my hair. I'm not sure why though.
Anyway, my weekend was fun. My boyfriend and I tried the ice skating thing again. This time he got on the ice and actually stayed there. He was almost gliding by the time we were done. Mostly he pulled himself along the wall, but that is a major improvement, so good for him. I am quite proud of him. After the skating we went to the mall. I bought a pair of flat boots. Hmm... maybe I'll wear them tomorrow... After that we went to dinner at a place near him and to a movie. We wanted to see Borat, but the people in front of us got the last tickets. Damn people, lol. We ended up seeing Babel. It was done very well, it was very well acted, and it was generally good for what it was. I'm not really in the mood for describing it. I'll just say it was a story about four different families that ended up being linked to one another, somewhat loosely. It was good, I'd recommend it.
So that was my weekend.
Today, I went to work and twisted or sprained my ankle. It hurts and I can't walk to good (I know that is grammatically incorrect by the way, it was a joke). So that was today. I'll see how my ankle is tomorrow. Meanwhile I am supposed to work Wednesday through Friday and I just hope I can walk.

So I worked today from 2:45 to 10:00pm. It doesn't sound like very much does it. I did three gym classes and then I worked at the desk. The classes are bad enough, but the desk is horrible. I mean it's just so boring!!! At least when it's registration season there are people bugging you all the time, you might find the people very annoying, but at least you're doing something. Just standing there for hours is tedious.
I'm going back tomorrow, but I'm only working at the desk for an hour. I'm doing one class, one hour at the desk, and then I'm getting my hair done. It's time, I mean my roots are showing soooooo much, lol. I'm thinking of making my hair a red red. Since you people don't really know what I look like, this doesn't mean much to you, but still. Oh well. I'm tired, I'm going to go veg out.
I'll tell you about my weekend after the fact. Later Dudes!!!!!

Well, my weekend didn't really get much better after Friday night. I was sickish. I didn't feel very well. It didn't matter very much what we did. I was in a kind of bad mood, I guess because of my under the weather feeling. We went to Union Square and wandered around the area. We went to Barnes & Noble and then to The Strand (as I am told it is called). I would have just called it Strands, but oh well. It's an old bookstore in the city known for having hard to find copies of books and also first editions of things. They also have your average book too. My boyfriend got a couple of books on some of his favorite people, and he got a copy of The Velveteen Rabbit. I love the story, it's sad, but it's one of those all's well that end's well things. It was very sweet of him.
After the bookstores we went to Au Bon Pan, a "French" bakery chain. It has good cookies and so on. I got four cookies, and mistakenly left them in my boyfriend's bag later, so he still has them, hehe. After the bakery (which we really only went in there to sit down), we decided we were hungry. So we went to this Thai place in the square called Republic. Someone told me it's supposed to be very good. So we sent in there, but it was very crowded. Apparently this place does cafeteria style seating. That means that they sit you at a long table full of a bunch of strangers. It's not really my thing, but it didn't bother me too much. My boyfriend didn't like it. He said he felt like it was as if they just threw you in anywhere and left you. Well, I guess that is sort of what they do, but it's a new fad, the cafeteria style seating thing. Whatever, we left. We wandered around for twenty minutes or so, then found ourselves almost back where we started, at the restaurant next door to the one we had left. I believe it was called Homeland Brewery. It was an American style restaurant/bar thing. The food wasn't bad. It was nothing spectacular, but it was ok. The waiter was pretty rude though. I am usually an overzealous tipper, but I wasn't that night.
So, after we left the restaurant we went back into the subway system and went back into my area. We wanted to see Borat, but it was sold out. We ended up seeing Marie Anoinette. I thought it was a pretty bad movie. As far as movies go, I think it was directed badly. I guess it was pretty good at depicting the loose way with which the French aristocracy threw money around while the peasants were being taxed to death. Other than that, as I'm sure my boyfriend could tell you... it wasn't historically accurate. We never saw one suffering peasant. I don't know, four people in the theater walked out mid movie. I kind of wanted to do that as well. Over all I just thought it was a boring movie. Excellent costumes though. I mean the clothes were great. Hehe.
After the movie, we walked back to my house, watched TV for about a half hour and my boyfriend went home.
So that was my weekend. I've also been a little sick. I have this cold that may or may not turn into the flu eventually. I've been sneezing my brains out, and I had a little sinus thing last night, felt like my eye was gonna pop out my head. Lol.
So how was your weekend? What did you all do? Have fun?

So, it's Friday night. What did I do today? I went to work, got there at 9:30, left at about 3:00. On the way to the super market I ran into an old friend, that was nice. While I was shopping I ran into my stepdad so he was able to take me home. I got home, I took a shower and started stripping the beds. I'm still sitting here on a bare bed and it's 1:30 am. The sheets are in the dryer. My boyfriend came over for dinner. I made chicken cutlets and stir-fry peas and onions. My mom made rice and fish. So we ate dinner, rather late. We ate late for a reason, but I don't feel like writing about it right now. We ate dinner, and afterwards my boyfriend and I went out to get lattes for my mom and stepdad, and a movie for us. Starbucks was unfortunately closed, so we couldn't get the lattes. We did however rent "The Weather Man."
So we got home. I watched the dishes and put them in the dishwasher (oxymoronic? I think not). My boyfriend and I went downstairs and I fixed up his bed. He fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. He woke up really early, and it WAS 1:20 am when he went to sleep. I don't know, I'm annoyed anyway. We didn't talk about what we're doing tomorrow, we didn't watch the movie we rented, and we didn't even say good night to each other. I'm sitting here with him and it's like I'm all alone, except I have to tip toe around. I'm bored. I'm usually bored around now. There are no good repeats on, and I don't really have anything to do. Usually I could just go to sleep, but I can't even do that now because I'm waiting for my sheets to dry.
So that's been my day, how was yours you people?

So, today I worked all day. I basically just got home. There's really nothing new to report. I'm tired. I taught a nursery class, two gymnastics classes, and I worked at the desk. My boyfriend was kind enough to pick me up on his way home from school. Next week I am fending for myself, taking the bus home. Oh well... Lol.
The gymnastics classes bother me on Thursday. They don't really know anything. The younger ones are just a pain in the ass, and the older ones are annoying. I'm not a big fan of girls between the ages of 7-10. I think in general they are just boring. At least when they hit puberty they start being a little more interesting. Boys are a little more interesting than girls, but not much so. I have the group of girls. My co-worker decided that since the class is big they should be broken up into two smaller groups. Makes sense. The way he split them up I'm not thrilled with. He broke them up into a girls group and a boys group. I get the girls of course. It just makes Thursday's a little less interesting. Oh well.
I'm going to go eat something now. I'll write something more tomorrow, if not then, Sunday.
Bye Bye!!!

Do you believe in ghosts? I do. I wouldn't let my mother buy an apartment because I thought it had a ghost in it. Well, all that aside, I don't think my house is haunted. Yesterday, I was giving out candy to trick or treaters and eventually I ran out of candy. So, I took my doorbell off the door. I brought it inside. It kept ringing. I took the battery out of the doorbell. It still was ringing. I put the doorbell and the battery in sepeate rooms and it still kept ringing.
It was weird. I just wanted to pass that weirdness along.
More later!!!

Anyway, I dressed up as Cleopatra. I had the dress, the crown of asps, and even a gauze shawl thing, lol. It was a pretty nice costume. I didn't take any pix because I have no idea where my camera is. I've been looking for it for a couple of weeks now. Oh well, I'll find it eventually. So I dressed up as Cleo and my boyfriend didn't dress up. I mean he looked nice 'n all, but totally normal. He was going to come over as Darth Vader, but he turned out not to have all the costume ingredients. Well, he took me out to dinner because I hadn't eaten all day. Then we just wandered around the area for a bit, saw some other people dressed up. Eventually we came back to my house and ate some candy, I mean, we had to, it was Halloween for Satan's sake!
So, tell me what you dressed up as and if you can post a picture, please do. I'll be talking to ya'll soon!

Hi everybody!!!
This is where you respond: Hi Mira!!!
I'll just pretend I heard that. Anyway, how are you all? I'm but ok. Still fighting my cold thing, or whatever it is I have. Tomorrow is going to kill me, I have to be at work at 9:30, which means I have to wake up at 7:30. Yippee!!! On Saturday, I may or may not be doing a Halloween party from 12:00- 4:00. On Sunday, I'm working a birthday party from 9:45- 12:00. Busy weekend. Next Sunday is going to be fun. I'm working from 9:45- 6:00, four birthday parties with a half hour break somewhere in between. Doesn't that sound like a great day? I'm working every Sunday for the next month basically.
Can somebody explain to me why people allow their children to have swimming birthday parties in the middle of the winter? Seriously I don't get it. I mean it's an indoor pool, but still, who wants to walk around in a bathing suit when it's cold out, it's just icky to me, ya know? Also, why allow children who don't know how to swim to have a swimming birthday part? That is the one I really don't get.
I don't have much else to say. I just wanted to write something in my blog. I'm working on a new story by the way, so expect to see it sometime soon. It's about the three little pigs. If you didn't know, their names are John, Dave, and Zach. That's your preview, lol. These names and characters are not supposed to be any real people, so back off!!!
Goodbye everybody!!!
This is where you respond: Goodbye Mira!!!

Let me start out by saying... I'm sick. I'm not fall over vomiting sick, but I'm not feeling well. I haven't been feeling especially well for a while. For all of you wondering, I should be getting my period by Friday, so watch out, I'm PMSing, lol.
This weekend was not especially eventful. Friday night my boyfriend came over for dinner. I made him lemon salmon. It was actually very good. I squeezed a lemon, and cut up some dill and garlic. I took the dill and garlic and sauteed it for a bit. The I took the fish, and poured the lemon juice over it. After that I put some oil on top of the fish and followed that up with the dill and garlic. Then I turned the fish over and soaked it in the lemon juice and oil that had fallen off the top of the fish. I let it marinate in the fridge for a bit until the grill was really hot, then.... I grilled it. I know you people didn't ask for a recipe, but here it is anyway.
So, my boyfriend came over for dinner. He was exhausted so after dinner we didn't really do anything. My mom and stepdad sent me out to buy them some chai lattes from Starbucks. It's amazing how they only let me drive when they want something, it's the only time I get their cars. Ucch. Anyway, after Rich and I got the tea we just came back to my house. We were going to go bowling, but he was too tired. I think I was too, I mean I could have done it, but I woulda been tired. He slept over and on Saturday we took ourselves over to Brooklyn to see his brother's art exhibit. It was very good. After the exhibit we went over to the Long Island Railroad mall thing. Let's just call it a mall. We walked in and out of stores for a while, then went to a bar. I looked at my beer, Rich drank his beer, lol. Then we had just a dandy time trying to buy french fries at McDonald's. I have never seen a more disorganized place. It was crowded in there, there weren't enough people working and it was vaguely dirty. All we ordered was a medium french fries. We waited for about ten minutes with our ticket stub that said we were number 460. We watched 465, 463, and 462 leave. We pushed our way to the front of the mob, showed out ticket stub, only to find out that the cashier had forgotten about our order. I mean they have this number system for a reason. I guess he didn't notice that he was skipping numbers and not going in order. Maybe he can't count... hmm.... Anyway, after that fun we went back into the subway system and back to my area. We went to Santa Fe steak house. We then walked back to my house and that's it.
Today, I went to work. I was sooo tired. The party went fine. They tipped well, lol. They had good cake too. After work I stayed around for two hours just talking to people. I was too tired to go home, too tired to wait for the bus. I regained some energy and went home. Then I just sort of sat around the house. I ate dinner and now I'm going this. I'm exhausted and I don't want to be here. I need a vacation from my life. Who wants to come? So how was your weekend people?

Wednesday, October 18, 2006
Well, it's Wednesday and I'm in a lazy mood. I was yesterday also. Actually I think I'm fighting a cold, so whatever. Let me talk about the last few days in order. Tuesday was pretty boring. I looked some things up online that I needed to do and later walked myself in the pouring rain to my father's house. In the evening my boyfriend came to pick me up and we went to see a movie, "The Departed." It was pretty good. It's one of those movies so chock full 'o details that to truly know exactly what is going on you need to see it a few times, or at least twice. The cast was great, Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, Martin Sheen, and Mark Whalberg. This cast of tough guys put on a great show and I recommend it for those of you who like smart action/drama movies. The whole time you are trying to figure out who exactly is the bad guy, and you are left wondering if there are any true good or bad guys.
Monday was uneventful, I went to work. Taught some gymnastics to some kids. My friend A____ is back to helping out in the class. The other girl L___ was only there because A____ was taking a SAT class on Mondays. A____ is better at the this particular job because she is first of all a better teacher, but also she has been doing this for a while and knows what to do. Anyway, after work I walked over to Blockbuster to return "School of Rock." After that I took the bus over to my dad's house and ate some food.
Now for the weekend. Excuse me, but I'm going to change the order of days. Instead of going backwards, I'm going to go in order, starting with Friday and ending with Sunday. So, on Friday my boyfriend came to pick me up and we went to eat at his house with his parents and one of his brothers. His mom made a very good chicken Parmesan. Anyway, after dinner we went to a local pool hall and played pool for a bit. We went back to his house and watched the end of "Hot Shots" with his brother. His bro went to sleep and we watched a really odd teenage movie about a senior in high school who inherits a porn empire. Umm, it was a weird movie. Wayne Newton was in it. Anyway, after that weird ass movie we went to sleep. Saturday, we decided that we wanted to have a picnic. So my boyfriend drove to Oyster bay because he said that he had somewhere to take me. I never found out exactly what that place was... We ended up driving back from where we had just came from to go to Whole Foods. We got some Salmon, some salad, some cookies, crackers, cressents (I can't spell in French), some water, and some chips. We got this stuff and went back to his area and ate it outdoors in a pretty park. It was very cold and very windy. So we ended up bringing the stuff back into the car and eating it there, lol. Then we drove around for a while and saw some mansions. The type of houses that have pools in their backyards! Lol. Anyway, after that we drove back to Oyster Bay. My boyfriend wanted to take me to President Roosevelt's house, he used to work there, as a tour guide. It was closing, but I saw the house. Nice house. Then we went to Macy's on the way back to my boyfriend's house. I got some pillows. My boyfriend wasn't feeling too well at this point so we went back to his house and watched "To Have and Have Not." I have been trying to get my boyfriend to see that movie for a really long time. After the movie we ordered some Chinese food. Later we watched that teenage movie I told you we watched on Friday night. I think we just watched TV on Friday night. Anyway, I ended up staying at his house Saturday night also, he was too tired to drive me home. He planned to drive me home on Sunday morning, but that didn't quite work out. We went to Staples for his father and also to Barnes & Noble. B&N was actually my idea, lol. I got a book and Rich got a few too. I ended up staying at his house for dinner. His mom/dad made steak and it was very good. Finally, Rich had to bring me home. We both had work on Monday. We didn't want to leave each other, but we had to.
So that was my weekend, and also the past couple of days. Comments anyone?

Today, I went to work. For some reason I was tired all day. I think it was just the weather. I mean it's been chilly in the evening too warm in the mornings. I hate it, I have no idea what to wear anymore. Do I dress warm for the evening, or light for the mornings? My throat and back hurts. Isn't it wonderful?
So, today I had a nursery class and two gymnastics classes. They all really wore out my voice. I don't really have much of it left anymore. I was soooo tired while I was teaching. Even one of the people I work with told me I didn't look good today. I know that's not exactly a compliment, but it was true. I think I'm even too tired to continue to write this blog entry. It's not like I have a lot to say anyway.
I haven't forgotten about that story I mentioned in an earlier entry by the way. I'll write all about the wolves in fairy tales and the three little piggies, but not tonight. In fact, don't expect me to write anything until Sunday, the earliest. After work tomorrow I'm going to go do something to my nails. Don't ask me to explain, all you need to know is that something needs to be done with them. After that I'm going to go home and wait for my boyfriend. We're having dinner with his parents at his house. After we plan to go play some pool, maybe get a little drunk. Lol, just kidding on the last one... Or am I? Lol. We plan to have the picnic we didn't get to have last Monday, on Saturday. Well, probably, it depends on the weather. What we do after... It's still a mystery to me...
I'll let you know how it all goes, lol. Comment if you're reading!! That's an order!! Oh Yeah!! LOL

If there was something potentially wrong with someone you love, would you want to know about it, or would you rather live in peaceful oblivion?
I would rather know about it. I mean maybe I'd be happier for a little bit longer, but eventually I would realize there was something wrong. Then I'd have to deal with the pain of being lied to and the pain of knowing someone I love is ill. By the way, this is completely hypothetical, nobody I know is sick... Or I don't think anyone is...
My point is that honesty is not always necessary. I think that little white lies are ok. Somebody walks up to you and asks you a silly meaningless question, you are aloud to lie to them to protect there feelings. If everybody was honest about everything, there would be a lot of sad people walking around all the time. People who say they believe in brutal honesty are full of crap. Either they just want attention, they are idiots, or they are just mean spirited. Life is full of lies, and as humans, we have to deal with it. As long as we know when it is ok to lie and when it is not, then we are ok.
The problem is once people become comfortable with lying, they often forget their morals. They lie all the time, and for no particular reason. Our society is built by a bunch of greedy liars. People are morons and don't know what is good for them.
I'm just rambling. I'm tired. I went out and collected applications today. I filled most of them out. I'll finish tomorrow. I'm going to hand them in also. Maybe I'll go to the mall an collect more applications, or I'll do it on Friday. My next step is to look for jobs in the city, after I try the mall anyway. The problem is, people are hiring now, because of the holiday season, but after the holidays are over, I might be out of a job again. Hopefully, I'll do well enough so that I'll be kept on. We'll see.
I'm actually going to go to sleep now, or stop trying to think anyway because I appear to be exhausted. This blog has been doubly hard to write because I have been practicing my touch typing, lol. I'll ttya'll tomorrow people. Comment please.

Ok, so my boyfriend did get sick, so we didn't do our picnic thing. We'll do it some other time, not a big deal. Oh well. Instead of a picnic I spent the day arguing with my mother. That was fun, always is. She drains me. I try to avoid her when we're both home together. I didn't eat anything at all, or drink anything until my dad came to pick me up. I didn't want to go upstairs and "talk" to her again, so I just stayed in the basement.
Tomorrow, I'm going to get myself to Austin St. And get a bunch of job applications. We'll see what happens. I might just fill them out in Starbucks and go bring them in. On Wednesday, I'll either get some applications from the mall, or go to the city and get some. Thursday and Friday I'm working, unless I automatically get a job earlier in the week. I'll look more in the City next week as well. I'm going to call a career counselor tomorrow I guess.
I also need to start trying to apply to schools. I'm going to apply to Queens College and to Queensborough Community College. I used to go to QCC actually. The problem with QCC, is that it takes like three hours to get there and back from my house. Oy. If I do manage to get a job, the first thing I'm going to save for is a car. That way I'll be able to get to any school I apply to and I'll also be able to go visit my boyfriend.
My day sucked. How was yours?

Well, it's 2:55 AM, so I'm not going to write very much. My boyfriend slept over last night. We were up late, talking I guess. It seemed to get late very fast. Well, we ate late, as you know if you read my last blog entry. Anyway, we went to sleep late, not too late, but late. We didn't wake up this morning until almost 1:00 PM. We didn't leave the house until 3:30 PM ish. We ate a late lunch then wadered around a bit.
We got back to my house around 7:00 PM, watched a little tv (poor yankees), and we ended up going out to dinner around 9:30 PM. We got back and watched a movie. House of Rock. I had never seen it before, it was funny, but not something I would want to watch many times. Jack Black tends to give me a headache. He's just so annoying.
Anyway, after the movie, my boyfriend went home. He's only been gone for about at hour, but I already miss him. I'll be seeing him agian soon though. We're planning on having a picnic on Monday. I hope he doesn't get sick.... Oy. I'm going to sleep now. I hope everyone's alright out there.
Tell me something people... I'm here, I'm listening, I'm reading... Talk to me.

Ok, I'm not going to write about the three little pigs right now. It's 8:35 and I'm waiting for my mother to finish cooking her fish so that we can eat dinner. My boyfriend is upstairs watching the baseball game, Yankees against... some other team. I'm in my room watching Grey's Anatomy. I missed it yesterday, I didn't even know it was on, my boyfriend told me, then put the baseball game back on.
So, I made meatloaf and potatoes. How American can I get, huh? Lol. My mom is making salmon and rice. I wonder if she put the fish on the grill yet. I sure hope she did, I'm hungry. My food is ready, so I want to eat. I never really made a meatloaf before, so I just hope it doesn't taste too bad. I can't smell it because my mom put on the heat, it's the first time it's been on this season, so it stinks. I'm not a heating expert, so I can't tell you why. Maybe it's burning up some dust or something. I really can't tell you. I don't especially care very muxh either. Oh well. I'm hungry.
OOO, we're sorta ready. Gotta go, ctach ya later...

Have you ever wondered what was going on with the three little pigs and the wolf? Was it the same wolf that was in little red riding hood? These are all thigs that deserve answers, but not at 2:08 in the morning. I will delve further into thesevery important matters tomorrow, or later, as the case may be.
I'm teaching a class of all boys tomorrow, 3-4 year olds, wish me luck...

Humpty dumpty sat on a wall, humpty dumpty had a great fall, all the kings horses and the kings men couldn't put humpty back together again.
Anyone ever think about that little nursery rhyme? Why was humpty dumpty sitting on the wall to begin with? Was he high? Was he depressed? Had Mrs. Dumpty just dumped him (no pun intended)? Was he some sort of high up official in the kingdom? He must have been, I mean why else would the king have sent ALL his horses and ALL his men? Was he already cracked to begin with? By cracked I could mean so many things...
So, I hereby give you the true story of Humpty Dumpty.
Once upon a time, there was a large egg/man thing walking up a twisted path. He was swinging a bottle of rum by his very thin arms (arms contrasting with his overly rotund body). He wasn't a pirate (ya know because of the rum, ayy matey's). He was the court scribe, on his way home from a very long, very late, palace party. Over the last month or so he had been depressed because Mrs. Dumpty, otherwise known as Felicia Dumpty, was pregnant. Now, it is not very commonly known, but I will tell you that court scribes are not in the upper echelon of society, meaning they don't make any money.
Felicia and Mr. Dumpty (whose name was Harry) had no money saved up because basically they were incapable of saving money. Felicia and Harry had just bought a house. Not a big house, but something they owned and could live in. It was better than being in debt to the king all the time. Before they had their house, Felicia and Harry Dumpty lived in a one room apartment overlooking the palace. They were happy, but the king was over charging them, and they knew it. So, in short they bought a tiny house. Halfway through unpacking their worldly possessions, Felicia sat Harry down on a box (he wobbled a bit, since he did have a similar shape to a weeble) and said, "Harry, I'm pregnant, we're going to have a little omelet in a year." I can't tell you why, but egg people have an extremely long gestation period. I also can't tell you why little egg people come out as omelets.
Anyway, after Felicia had told Harry about their little omelet in the oven, he started having a drinking problem. He couldn't figure out how he was going to pay for the little omelet. In a few years it was going to be sunny side up, then soft boiled, then hard boiled, then it was just going to keep growing until it was reached his size. He didn't know if he was ready for the responsibility. He also didn't think Felicia was going to want to get a job, which would really help with the money.
So, he was at this palace party. It had been going on for a long time and he was quite drunk. The king had basically told him to go home and dry out. So, he snuck a bottle of rum out and took it with him. He was walking up this long twisted road swinging his bottle of alcohol and basically swimming in misery. He came upon this wall and decided to sit down for a while before he went home. He didn't want to seem too drunk to his wife. So he was sitting up there singing a song ( de camptown races sing this song, doo da, doo da...), when he began to feel a bit wobbly. I know I likened Harry to a weeble before, but the fun with weebles is that they wobble but they don't fall down. Harry however, was an egg. He did fall down, and he cracked. He was already miserable, so he just lay there in the dusk. He didn't call out for anyone, he didn't think of trying to get home, he just lay there and watched the sun slowly coming up.
Now, I'm sure you have all heard the saying, that an egg will cook on cement. Well, that is in fact what happens. Harry was frying on the cement. His innards were cooking. Some kid was walking by and he smelled something, something good. He thought it smelled like eggs. Hmm... He walked over to the wall to investigate. He found Harry lying there and immediately called the palace. All the kings horses and all the kings men came down from the palace and tried to put Harry together again, but, as you know, they couldn't. The king himself called Felicia, and she came down. She said, "Harry, what are you doing!? We are having an omelet, you are not allowed to fall apart now." Harry sat up and said, "Why Felicia? At least if I fry here on the sidewalk then you'll get the insurance policy. You and the omelet will be able to live in comfort." Felicia thought about it for a while. Then she said, "You're right Harry, we might have more money if you fried here, but the omelet wouldn't have his father."
And with that, Harry stopped feeling sorry for himself, pulled himself together, grabbed pieces of his shell, lying around, and got up. He and Felicia went home together, had their omelet, and lived together, not always happily, but together.
So that is the true story of Humpty Dumpty. All the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put humpty together again, but, his loving wife, Felicia was able to do it. They lived a long mostly happy life together, until their expiration date expired. All you have to remember about Harry is that even when the most powerful man in the world couldn't save him, the love of his wife, his life partner, was able to pull him back together.
And that is what you never knew about Humpty dumpty.

I'm sitting here eating a double chocolate chip cookie, wondering about the comments I received from my last entry. Why exactly would my boyfriend mind if I wanted to be an English major. He is very supportive in whatever I want to do. I mean he might have a problem if I wanted to sell my body for money, or food, but I somehow sense that is not going to be a problem. I try to support him, he tries to support me, it's what we do. We strive for harmony even if we don't succeed. Yeah, we aren't fighting this week, lol. In fact, today is our nine month anniversary. This is the longest, best relationship I have ever had. So, don't cheapen it by saying things like I need to give up my life and follow my boyfriend around, because, I gotta say, that's what it sounded like my commenter was saying.
Anyway, my week has been shorter than usual. I worked on Sunday, and Monday felt like Sunday. It was Yom Kippur on Monday, so I didn't really move much. I sat around fasting. I was also kind of sick, still am, I couldn't stay awake. Very aggravating to just feel drained for no reason. My boyfriend with his talk of impending illness is who I blame for this. Lol, I'm just kidding, really. Mwahh baby. Happy Anniversary!
Tomorrow, if I can stay awake I plan to get myself dressed upish and go look for a job. If I can't stay awake, I plan to sleep a lot, lol. I would really like to find a job that might lead to a career, or something sort of related to English. However, I don't think that is going to happen. So, my goal is to find something I don't hate, for the purpose of making money. There is actually a bank on my block looking for a part time teller, so I may apply for that. I also have aspirations of actually going to the gym that I am affiliated with. Hmm... We'll see.
Right now I am going to succumb to my illness and lie down. So, yes, again I am begging for comments, but be nice people.

How was your Tuesday everybody? Mine really sucked. I fought with my boyfriend, and basically sat around miserable. Tomorrow, I plan to be more productive. I am going to search for a job in my town. I was actually avoiding that. Why? Because I don't really want to run into people I know and who I need to explain my current state to. Next term I am going to try to get into Queens College. I would rather go there than Hunter. I never liked Hunter. I should have applied to Queens begin with. If I don't get in there, maybe I will apply out of state. Not too far, but not to close. On the other hand, maybe I can dream and get a real job, then I can get an apartment and start truly supporting myself.
I basically decided to be an English major by the way. I don't know if i mentioned that in a previous blog or not. Maybe I'll be an english major, and I'll teach in a high school. I think I could do that. I'm used to beurocratic crap. Maybe I'll eventually write a book like I've always wanted to do. I wouldn't mind. A children's book, maybe young adult. Maybe a romantic book. I don't know. I just want to do something with my life so I can die in peace.
So, tell me people. When you are in a relationship do you start thinking in terms of "we" or is that just irrational in today's work of practicality? Do people have the right to ask their partner to change their dreams for the better of the "we," or not? Should there be a "me/I" after the "we" happens? Should people change their dreams to include their loves? Should they at least offer, so that the love/spouse has the oppurtunity to say, "No, you do what you need to do." Once people get married are they still just responsible for the "I", or are they then responsible for the "we?" My m&m's just spilled all over my bed damn. Should people who love each other, stay together, or grow apart, and come together again? When you are in love is it the best part of your life, or the most painful, or both? Does every good thing come with something bad? Well, somebody let me know your opinion of that stuff.
I'm going to attepmt to sleep now, I mean it is 1:45 AM. So, ttyl and tell me some answers somebody. Amybody can comment you know. You don't need to tell me your real name.

Well, just so you all know, my cuts are pretty much healed. I mean, not completely, but they don't really hurt anymore. I can bend my thumb again!!! Yahoo!!! Lol.
Let's see it's Monday night, 2:05 AM, so technically I guess it's Tuesday morning. My Monday was alright. The morning wasn't too eventful. I talked to my cousin on the phone, might see her one of these days, lol. After talking to her, I commenced in cleaning my desk. Trust me, it really needed it. Still does, I stopped in the middle. Anyway, I was interrupted from cleaning by my boyfriend. He had an interview this (yesterday) morning. He had to prepare a lesson on the conception of political parties in the U.S. I don't know about you, but to me that sounds like a hard lesson to prepare. I mean what high schooler is going to be interested in that? So, not only did he have to worry about the content of the lesson, but he also had to worry about making it interesting to a bunch of high schoolers. Poor baby.
Anyway, after he went through that, he came to my house. He was all stressed out. Ya know nerves, and just from general stress. So, I tried to calm him down, then we went to eat a little lunch. After that, we went back to my house. My poor boyfriend seemed to develop a little fever. I don't even know how that happened. He was sooo stressed. He drove me to work, went home, and fell asleep. I talked to him later, he seemed to be better, so that was good.
Meanwhile, I was at work. Nothing very exciting happened. One kid hurt his ankle doing something on bars (I don't know what because he wasn't in my group), and two other kids took it upon themselves to decorate the gym floor. I don't know where, but they found pens and drew on the floor. As soon as I knew they were doing this, I of course took the pens away. Besides, that nothing very exciting happened at work today. I have to go back Thursday, around 2:00pm. Also, I'm doing a birthday party on Sunday, yippee! It's only one party and it's in the gym, so no water. Good, cuz I can't do water this week, lol. Anyway, it's taken me a while to write this blog, because I keep getting distracted by the TV, so I'm gonna go to sleep.
Good night reader's, sleep well and have a good tomorrow.

So... Any comments on my new page design? : - P
Ok, so, let me start off by saying that I am an idiot. I was cleaning last Friday, perfectly rational thing to do, right? Not, with me in the picture. It started off innocently enough, a little laundry, a little dusting, and a little vacuuming. Ok, the last one is where I lost it. I was vaccuuming every crevice, every freak'n surface of my room. My aunt gave me a glass table a while ago (this isn't a sidetrack, bear with me). It was very nice. It was almost the width of a twin size bed and pretty much the same depth as one across. It was a little smaller, but pretty much those were the dimensions. Ok, so, I was vacuuming. The table was in my way. I wanted to pull out the extra bed from under my bed, but the that's where I kept the table. Ok, now I had three options. One: I could push the whole thing out of the way (as in slide it). Two: I could wait for my boyfriend to come and help me move the table. Three: I could pick the glass up off its legs and move it out of the way myself. Option number one was not really an option, there isn't really enough room to slide the table away. Besides, since the glass wasn't attached to the legs, I'm not sure it really would have slid properly. Ok, option number two. I don't like waiting for people. I am under the general impression that I am not a weakling and that I can do certain things by myself. I knew I could carry the glass myself, I've done it, but not from a lying down position. As for option number three... Well, that's what I did. It didn't work out so well. I was hefting the glass off the legs, was going ok. I got it up to a vertical position, but then it just kept going... I end up falling right into it. I cut my hand pretty deeply in three places, my left hand, have I mentioned that I'm a lefty? I cut my knee, my right hand (only a little bit), I got little tiny cuts on my chest and left arm. Oh yes, somehow, as the table fell, it hit my ankle, so it's bruised and swollen. This has nothing to do with the table, but a mosquito also bit up my ankle, so it's somewhat extra swollen, lol.
So after my table debacle I called my father, he wasn't home. I knew he wasn't, but I called anyway. Then I called my boyfriend. He put me on the phone with his father (he's a doctor, it makes sense, lol). It was bleeding pretty profusely. I just applied pressure and it pretty much stopped. It was oozing for a while, but I don't need stitches or anything. It could have been much worse, the way I fell I could have slit my wrists. I didn't though, so don't worry. My boyfriend got to my house eventually, helped me clean up the glass. We removed it, lol.
Today, I worked three birthday parties. One was a double extended birthday party. Two long in the pool!!! AHHH!!!! Lol. I don't want to go into it right now. All you need to know is that I am soooo tired... I'm going to go now. Tell me something people.

So this is my new haircut, for those of you still wondering what it looks like. It's not the greatest picture in the world, but you get the idea.
An update from last time... Well, I'm babysitting later. In fact I'm going to call the people soon to confirm. It's raining outside and kinda icky. I wish somebody would lend me their car to get to work later. It would sure make my life easier. I have to walk there otherwise, and I'm not even exactly sure where it is. I might just take a cab. I think I may do that.
I used to wish I knew how to drive, now I wish I had a car, lol. Life is funny like that, we're almost never satisfied with what we have. I guess that is one of the things that makes us human. We have the ability to think (therefore we are), we have the ability to learn from our mistakes, and we have the ability to never be happy with what we have. Lol. Life just has its randomly funny aspects I guess. Anyway people, I'll talk to you later. I gotta go do some stuff, maybe eat for the day... I should remember to do that more often, lol.

So, you may have noticed that I haven't written anything in a while. I have a very good reason. I have a very boring life. I haven't been doing very much of anything. I finished my resume with my helpfully aunt's help. Problem is that I don't know what to do about it. Now I have this resume, which looks pretty good. However, I don't even know where to begin, or what I want to do. I was thinking about trying to get into voice overs, but I'm really not sure how to go about it. I found a website in a "careers for dummies" book, or something like that, but the website looked so full of it. They promise to fulfill your dreams and start up a great career with a six figure salary. I am skeptical to say the least. I think later in the week, maybe tomorrow I am going to go to one or more of the fancy department stores in the city. I want to try out personal shopping. I like shopping and I like telling people what to do, lol. I was actually seriously thinking about going into editing. Maybe I can try to get a job as a secretary in a publishing company, work my way up. As long as I don't have to be like the guy in 1984, and edit history, I think I can do it. Maybe I will end up going back to college next term and perhaps I will major in English. I didn't especially like the college I was going to, I didn't really fit in. Everybody seemed to know what they were doing, they were driven. Since I had/have no idea what I want to do, I was not driven like they were. It made me feel like an outsider I guess. I didn't like the administration either, they were singularly unhelpful. I know most bureaucracies tend to be like that, why should they have to be? Seriously, what's the point of making people as annoyed as they can be at you? It doesn't help anybody. Whatever.
Anyway, I think I'm done ranting about my pitiful life for the moment. I'll tell you about last weekend instead. Ok, so Friday I took my boyfriend over to the Board of Ed. Gee, that was fun. Did you know that the B.O.E. smells? Well, if you didn't, now you do. Actually, the whole area kind of smelled. Now don't get me wrong, I like Brooklyn, I really do, it's pretty. I'm just saying that the area in which we were kind of smelled. End of story. After the B.O.E., we went to a bar across the street. My boyfriend was stressed from all the crap he had to do, so I bought him a beer. After this we slowly made it back to my good 'ol town. I got some of my stuff together and my boyfriend and I went back to his house for Shabbat dinner with his family. We had some sort of garlic and rice. It's a middle eastern dish I believe. Anyway, after dinner we were both exhausted. Going to Brooklyn and back is pretty tiring in itself, and the stress of the B.O.E. didn't help matters. So we fell asleep in the basement to an Original Series Star Trek marathon. I saw the beginning of each episode, then fell asleep for the rest. That's ok though, I have them memorized, what can I say, I am my father's daughter. Eventually, after sleeping on the couch for a while we both went upstairs to go to sleep. Me being me, I stayed up for a while before I fell asleep. I assume that my boyfriend fell asleep as soon as his head hit his pillow.
The next day, we didn't wake up until about 12:30PM. I guess we really were tired, eh? So, after waking up (finally), we went off to Coney Island (still the only amusement park I've ever been to by the way). We drove around for a good half hour if not more looking for somewhere to put the car. We gave up eventually and decided to put the car in a lot that advertised as being $10 a day. So we figured that wasn't so bad. We got to the lot just to find it full. Yippee!!! We were going to go home discouraged when we saw the aquarium parking lot. We went in and stayed. Stupid parking lot costs $22.00 to park! However, it includes one adult admission ticket, which is $14.00, so in essence parking is only $8.00. When it comes down to it, that isn't too bad. So we went to see all the fish, and sharks, and jelly fish. After eating some abominable food in the cafeteria, we went over to Astroland and went on some rides. We went on Saturn 6 (that green thing I told you about last time), and the Water Flume, and we also did some Go Karting. We were pretty tired after this so we went back to my boyfriend's house for dinner. We had steak, his mom is a good cook and his dad grills a mean steak, lol. After dinner I was helping my boyfriend write a cover letter. Well, he wrote it, and I edited it. That's when I discovered the whole editing thing. That took until about 10:00. We went to go see The Illusionist that night. It was ok, a little too predictable, but still good. It was about this magician that fell in love with his childhood friend. Except, they were from different classes in Austria. She was of the aristocracy, promised to marry a prince (or something like that), and he was the son of a poor woodmaker. Whatever, I won't tell you the rest, but it was pretty, as I said, predictable. There is another movie that is supposed to come out soon, I think called The Prestige. It is also about a magician. Maybe that one will be a bit more suspenseful. Anyway, we went back to his house, finished up his cover letter thing and he took me home.
On Sunday, I had to go to work. There was a Fall Festival. Basically, my friend and I watched a bunch of babies play with their parents and each other. Fun. Tiring. After work my boyfriend picked me up and we went to his house for dinner with his parents and one of his brothers. His mom made some fish, it was very good. After dinner, his parents and brother went to smoke outside while watching t.v. We went down to the basement and played with his Nascar computer game. Before dinner actually, I helped him write a note to some people my aunt wanted him to thank. Long story, don't ask, lol. I edited again. Anyway, after we played with the computer for a while we went to go eat some ice cream pops, then we watched Red Eye on t.v., that was a good movie. Later, after the movie, he took me home. That was the end of my weekend.
Meanwhile, during the course of my blog writing I got a call from my boss. I am working almost all week next week. My point is that I don't know if it's a good idea to go to other places looking for a job this week, if I can't go anywhere next week, can't start a new job if I'm still doing my old job. We'll see. I'll ask people for advice, lol. So, anyway, that's been my life as of late. Tell me about yours...
I had the strangest dream last night. It was about war, or the army anyway, both I guess. I don't know how it started. I remember I was on some sort of battlefield, except it had my living room furniture in it, and there was a sheet separating the battlefield and the medical tent. I don't know what happened exactly, but I found myself wading through some bloody water. I think I was with my parents, friends, I'm really not sure. My mother was on the other side, on some hill, yelling about something. At this point I think we were fighting the Nazi's. Anyway, so my father got hit. He was bleeding and got taken to the medics, behind the sheet. I went with him. They were treating my father and were talking to me at the same time. They asked me my name age, all those mundane things. So, I said Mira, and 21. That's when my father started yelling at me. "Why did you tell them your age!" Apparently, in dream world 21 is the age when you can be drafted in to the army. As he was yelling at me, soldiers were coming up trying to get me and bring me into the army. I started running, and running, and running. I was chased by these soldiers for a while. That's when it changed. I started being chased by Nazi soldiers. I found myself picking up my cousin at my grandparents old house. We were going to lunch or something, but I was still being chased my the Nazi's. So we went to some kosher deli (which by the way is such a dead giveaway). She hid me in the bathroom, but her mother and my mother were there. They saw us. They said they were very sorry, but they couldn't help hide me. My aunt and mother went back to fixing their lipstick as I hid in a stall. Somehow, I got out of that situation as things are prone to happen in dreams. Then I was in my grandparents old house, or in the backyard anyway. The Nazi's grabbed me and brought me inside, but I escaped. I ran back outside. I realized I could never out run them, so I hid in the shrubs connecting my grandparents house and their neighbor's house through some shrubs in the exceptionally long driveway. For some reason I was wearing bright orange shoes, and the shrubs were especially thin, so they found me and brought me back inside again. I think at this point I actually woke up. I fell back asleep and found myself in another bathroom with my cousin (I have a feeling I really had to pee, lol). So this toilet was one of those airplane toilets. I flushed it a few times for fun. Then I heard the Nazi's coming with their machine guns. I jumped into the whole in the wall in front of the toilet. I ended up in a secret sewer room. The soldiers shot up the room and everything except me had bullet holes in it. There was this man in there. Now, this is a little weird. I think it was Odo, from ST DS9. If you don't know what that means, good for you. All you need to know is that Odo is a shape shifter and in my dream anyway could dislodge things from his body. So Odo was shot up, he got the bullets out and wound up as a pile of goo. I kept running from the Nazi's. I wound up on the sidewalk over the Grand Central talking to my cousin. I think that's when my alarm clock rang again. I was not a happy person upon waking.
Was this dream detailed enough for ya?

OK, I Know I haven't posted anything in a while, don't shoot! Lol. So, I haven't been up to all that much lately. Just working a lot. But my summer job is officially over on Friday and after that I have to start seriously working on finding a full time for the year job. If anyone has any ideas, let me know...
Anyway, last Monday, some of my coworkers and I decided that we just HAD to get our nails done. So E_____ told us about this place in Woodhaven that does tips for relatively cheap, actually half the price it usually is. So we got all excited and started on our journey to Woodhaven. We walked all the way through two towns and into another. This isn't quite as bad as it seems, considering the towns around here are relatively small. Anyway, we walked through two towns to get a bus to take us deeper into the town. We were on the bus for all of five minutes, maybe less actually, when it was time to get off. All this traveling had taken us about an hour, maybe a tad more. We got off the bus only to find that this place that we were headed to was closed on Monday's. We were pissed off. I mean, it was hot and humid, we had just finished a long day at work, and we REALLY wanted our nails done for some reason, not to sure why, hmm.... Whatever. I should mention that what we wanted to get done (tips). So we were all sitting around trying to figure out what to do with ourselves. I suggested a place near me, but when I called them, it turned out that tips cost $45 there, WTFO! Please. So G____ thought of a place in Jamaica, but wasn't sure exactly how to get there. So we got back on the bus, into the subway, and found ourselves in Jamaica. G____ asked every person that we passed how to get to Crazy Nails. We never did find it. But we found another place just as cheap to get our nails done. Unfortunately, by the time we go there E_____ wasn't in the mood to get her nails done anymore, so she just watched G____ and me get ours done. On the way back to the subway, some guy on the street basically loomed over us and screamed once, then moved on. E_____ and I reacted quickly, did our little gasp of surprise and continued on our way. However, G____ who was thinking about the story she was telling us, had a very delayed reaction. The guy was already on another street when she put her hands up and screamed. E_____ and I started laughing hysterically, I mean we were almost rolling on the floor. Seriously, we had tears almost streaming down our faces. It was a very long day. But a lot of fun. The nails looked pretty good too. They lasted for a week, mine anyway. G____ still has hers. Mine ended up getting repainted (by me) three times. Today, I went to a place that's pretty cheap in my town, and got them removed and replaced. I might just try to keep them for more than a week. I mean technically I can keep them for six months, and just keep getting them filled, but who thinks I actually will? Seriously, I'm taking bets, who wants a piece of this action?
So basically, my days have been filled with work and nails. Now can you understand why I haven't written anything in a while?
My best friend went into the army today... Good luck Liat, I miss you.
I might be going to Six Flags, or Great Adventure (or are those the same places?) sometime soon. I'll let you know what happens. I've never been to a real amusement park, how pathetic is that, seriously? Oy. So this is my life. Comment.
